Dianne with Cr Glenn Milne

We met with Cr Glenn Milne (Mayor of Mildura) and Karen Costa (MS advocate) before our launch today. I met Karen a few years ago in Canberra as MS advocates to address parliamentary members on matters for those living with MS. It was great catching up with Karen and meeting the Mayor of Mildura before heading off to Wentworth._IGP2812
I didn’t take long to reach Wentworth and so we decided to go upstream on the Darling River. _IGP2823 _IGP2831
Darling River was interesting and lined with gnarly red gums with long grasses on banks. IMGP9096 IMGP9105The water was deep too and slightly clearer than the Murray at this section. _IGP2839

Kiam had some time to fish and caught a perch (possibly the
Vulnerable species – Silver Perch) on a lure. It was set free immediately after the photos and a kiss!_IGP2840

Tomorrow we head off into the section of the Murray Sunset National Park. This will be the most remote section for us and possibly our last blog until Renmark on 27th Nov. But you will be able to track us on out satellite tracker.
