_IGP1412_IGP1413A fantastic day with great weather. Got away early as always and head down to meet friends of Gill’s holidaying on the river bank.
Shared a cup of coffee with them before heading off into Collendina State Forest.

It was simply breathtaking although difficult to navigate due to low water levels and many snags. At times water level was 0.4 meters and our boat was at the edge of getting stuck. The motor was overheating at times however River Spirit got us through all the snags and low levels through paradise.

The river then became wider and deeper as we head closer towards Lake Mulwala. _IGP1499This is where we cruised at planning speed meandering towards the lake. After naviga    ting the complex lake and following the old Murray River path through the dead trees, we reached Mulwala and were delighted that The Ski Club Mulwala provided us all with 4 plus star accommodation at an exceptional rate. _IGP1525We greatly appreciate their support & thank them for two wonderful nights rest.
