A later start today at 10 a.m. as we decided to change our plans and not camp tonight in Barmah National Park due to expected storms and unknown vehicle access. Nevertheless it was still an early morning start for me as I had an ABC radio interview at 6.20 a.m.

It was our shortest day on the water to date; just 3 hours on the river. Gill & dad hit the town of Tocumwal looking for cabins. Upon our arrival we met with a local who interviewed me for the town’s upcoming flyer of events. More photos taken & chat with locals down at the boat ramp. Kiam learnt that Tocumwal use to be Australia’s largest WWII bombing base in the southern hemisphere. Tomorrow we start earlier for a 90km trip to Mathoura though Barmah National Park.
